Brand Story
SHACK is a cafe and surf shop rooted in the laid-back coastal lifestyle of Burleigh Beach, Gold Coast. SHACK is about slow living. Taking your time, enjoying a good cuppa, and lingering with mates.
The challenge was to build an identity that captured these themes without falling into the clichés of contemporary surf branding.
Visual Identity
The brand brings together Australian surf culture and the charm of a vintage New England fishing town. SHACK balances modern aesthetics with weathered details. These references were translated into a visual system that feels modern but lived-in.
The Space
The physical space follows this same idea, taking cues from New England's East Coast fishing villages. Whitewashed timber, aged textures, nautical objects.
Together, the branding and environment create a cohesive experience.
